Century Club Luncheon
01/09/2009 12:00noon
San Jose Holiday Inn, 1740 N First St., Mediterranean Center, Central San Jose

We are starting 2009 off with a great speaker, former State Senator John Burton from San Francisco! As many of you know, John is campaigning hard to be elected Chair of the California Democratic Party to replace Art Torres at the Party convention in April. He will be here to tell us of his plans for the Party as well as to comment on the complexities of politics in California and nationally. John Burton has served in the State Assembly, the Congress and the State Senate where he was President pro tempore for 6 years until being forced out by term limits. John is a colorful and dynamic speaker who is uniquely equipped to give us the inside lowdown on what to expect in 2009. Please join us and bring friends to this first Century Club luncheon of the new year. Please RSVP to Anne Mack at events@democraticcenturyclub.com. You can also call for a reservation or further information at 650-493-7798. The price remains $20.
