Join Santa Clara County Democratic Interns and make a real impact on local politics through hands-on experience in voter engagement, policy research, and community organizing. The program accepts intern applicants on a year-round, rolling<\/strong> basis. Each week, interns will have to commit approximately 10 hours or the appropriate time needed to complete their assigned tasks.<\/p>\n\n\nMeet Our Team!<\/span><\/a><\/span><\/span>\n\n\n

What Our Interns Do <\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

  1. Voter Engagement \/ GOTV<\/li>\n
      \n
    1. Get people excited about democracy and help them participate in the political process<\/li>\n
    2. Host phone banks to reach voters directly<\/li>\n
    3. Organize canvassing campaigns in neighborhoods<\/li>\n
    4. Plan pre-protest parties and youth engagement events<\/li>\n
    5. Set up tabling for voter registration drives<\/li>\n
    6. Ensure every voice is heard by maximizing voter turnout during critical elections<\/li>\n
    7. Coordinate voter contact operations<\/li>\n
    8. Organize poll monitoring<\/li>\n
    9. Plan election day logistics<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
    10. Youth Takeover Planning<\/li>\n

      1. Lead our signature annual event where young voices shape the Democratic Party’s official positions<\/li>\n
      2. Research and draft policy resolutions<\/li>\n
      3. Coordinate with youth organizations across the county<\/li>\n
      4. Organize presentation strategies<\/li>\n
      5. Submit resolutions that become official party stances<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
      6. Data Analysis & Research<\/li>\n

        1. Dive deep into the numbers and trends that drive political decision-making<\/li>\n
        2. Analyze voter turnout patterns<\/li>\n
        3. Research policy impacts and outcomes<\/li>\n
        4. Track demographic trends<\/li>\n
        5. Prepare briefings for party leadership<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
        6. Social Media & Communications<\/li>\n

          1. Amplify our message and engage with the community through digital platforms<\/li>\n
          2. Create advocacy campaigns for key issues<\/li>\n
          3. Design informational content for voters<\/li>\n
          4. Manage social media accounts<\/li>\n
          5. Write articles for SCCDP Newsletter<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

            1. Help loan and execute fundraisers<\/li>\n
            2. Design merch for intern team<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
