Starting with the March 3, 2020 primary, all Santa Clara County voters will receive a “Vote by Mail” ballot. Each voter will have the choice to return the ballot by mail (postage is prepaid) or return the ballot, obtain a replacement ballot, or vote in person at a “Vote Center”. There will be fewer Vote Centers than polling places, but voters will be able to vote other than on Election Day. Some Vote Centers will be open 11 days before and through Election Day, and many others 4 days before and through Election Day.
