During Women’s History Month the DAWN executive board invites you to join us for High Tea for RBG on March 27, 3-4:30 pm. The theme this year is the “Future Is Equal” and we are very honored to have three power house guest speakers who have lived their lives in the fight for equality; Katherine Spillar, Executive Director of The Feminist Majority Foundation and Executive Editor of Ms. Magazine, Dr. Carmen Schaye, Vice President of The National Women’s Political Caucus and Emiliana Guereca, Founder and Executive Director of Women’s March Foundation and Women’s March Action.
We have lots of fun things planned that you won’t want to miss, including a VIRTUAL SCAVENGER HUNT; all guest will be broken up into to teams led by a Fierce Feminist Leader for a virtual scavenger hunt (the winning team will win a prize worthy of RBG!) Guests will also be given the opportunity to network and discuss ideas on achieving gender equity. Everyone who attends will be entered to win fabulous prizes in our “RBG WHEEL OF FORTUNE” game.
