Attention Democrats!
The Santa Clara County Democratic Party has the sole authority to confer an official Democratic Party endorsement on Democrats running for nonpartisan office in local and county races and local and county ballot initiatives within Santa Clara County.
All endorsements are made in accordance with SCCDP bylaws, based on the adopted party platform, and include a โno endorsementโ option.

Candidate Interest Form โ 2026 Endorsement Cycle
Thank you for your interest in seeking endorsement from the Democratic Party.
The 2026 endorsement cycle has officially commenced. At this time, we are only considering races in the 2026 Primary Election. Candidates running in the General Election are still welcome to submit their information using the form below and will receive relevant updates as they become available.
How the Endorsement Process Works
- Submit the Candidate Interest Form
Completion of the form allows us to share endorsement timelines, deadlines, and materials with you. - Receive the Endorsement Questionnaire
Candidates will be emailed the most up-to-date endorsement questionnaire. - Questionnaire Submission
A completed questionnaire must be submitted to the Endorsements Chair by the stated deadline. Deadline details will be communicated via email. - Panel Interviews
Candidate panel interviews will be conducted during the final week of February. - Endorsement Decision
Consideration of the Endorsement Committeeโs recommendations for Round 1 contested races will occur at the March 5, 2026 Santa Clara County Democratic Central Committee meeting.
