Postcarding is a fun and easy to get out the vote, and it can be done in your own living room or at a cafe with friends. Studies show that handwritten postcards have a friendly grassroots vibe, and they get read more than slick campaign fliers do.
Basically the campaign provides postcarding volunteers with a list of addresses, and a few lines of text to be written on each postcard about IdaRose’s campaign. You provide postcards and stamps. It’s easy to work on a few postcards here and there at a time, during a coffee break or in a waiting room or wherever one is.
We provide links for where to get postcarding supplies, but if cost is an issue then we have some resources to provide supplies for postcarders who have the energy to write but not the money for postcards or stamps.
You can get started by emailing us at IdaRosePostcards@gmail.com – and letting us know how many postcards you want to write for starters. We will send further instructions after that.
