Reclaim Our Vote, a national organization reaching out to voters of color in several voter-suppression states, is in full GOTV (get-out-the-vote) phonebanking mode for North Carolina’s 3rd Congressional District special election. Early voting is August 21st through September 6th, and the date of the election is September 10th. We could really use your help making GOTV calls in the next few weeks to these neglected voters! We have 60,000 calls to make, and not enough volunteers to make them.
Please attend Reclaim Our Vote – Silicon Valley’s organizing meeting on Saturday August 31st, 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM, Starbucks, Fremont and Mary, Sunnyvale (back room). We’ll talk about plans for the rest of 2019 and into 2020, reaching out to voters of color in several key voter suppression states (including Virginia, North Carolina, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, Ohio and Pennsylvania).
