- Josh is a fifth-generation resident of California’s central valley who won his Congressional seat in CD-10 in both 2018 and 2020.
- Since being elected, Josh secured the first water project funding for his district in over 50 years, authored the Coronavirus Paid Sick Leave Credit Act, introduced our landmark climate change bill to help farmers be a part of the climate solution, and has taken the No Corporate Pac pledge.
- California’s 10th district is a highly competitive district that Joe Biden won by only 1.6 points, and it may become even more competitive with redistricting. Moreover, Stanislaus County voting to recall Governor Newsom further illustrates the uphill challenge being faced by Congressman Harder. The NRCC has identified Josh as one of their top targets in the nation. All of this suggests that this will be Josh’s most competitive race yet.
