The November meeting of the Democratic Central Committee will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 7:00 PM. The meeting will be held at an alternate site: South Bay Labor Council, Hall A, 2102 Almaden Rd, San Jose, CA 95125
We will be hearing an update on the SEIU Local 521 strike, a presentation by Junior State of America, information on the updated platform to be voted on next month, and considering endorsements in the March 3, 2020 Primary Election.

As a reminder, printed copies of the agenda and resolutions will not be provided at the meeting, as part of our effort to protect the environment and minimize waste. At our last Central Committee meeting, we took a collection to fund the purchase of a new projector, which will be used to display the agenda and resolution text at the meeting.
The Chair is recruiting members willing to assist in setting up the projector and screen for each meeting, and also for volunteers to help reduce food service related waste by taking responsibility for bringing compostable plates and utensils to each meeting, from a supply the Party will purchase in bulk.
