Anthony Aguilar served in the United States military for 25 years and attained the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in Special Forces as a Green Beret. During his career, his deployments included missions in Iraq, Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Jordan, and the Philippines. In May of 2025, Aguilar began working for UG Solutions, which provided security at food distribution sites run by the Gaza Humanitarian Foundation. After witnessing IDF soldiers and American contractors fire indiscriminately at starving Palestinians with guns, but also with tanks and missiles, he resigned in protest. Since returning to the U.S, Lt. Colonel Aguilar has been speaking out in hopes of highlighting the atrocities and potential war crimes that Israel has committed.
