On Thursday, May 4, 2023, the Santa Clara County Democratic Central Committee took the following actions:
We passed resolutions in support of an Empty Homes Tax and Standing with Democracy and in Opposition to Right Wing Nationalism, heard presentations about an SCCDP sponsored Multicultural Event, a Proposal to Build Interim Supportive Housing on County Land in the City of Santa Clara, and Experiences, Contributions, and Challenges to Participating in Civic Life as a Person with Disabilities, and received notice of vacancy on SCCDCC from AD25 to be filled at June 1, 2023 SCCDCC meeting and the Youth Takeover, planned for July 13, 2023.
