Invite you to attend a presentation on “Communications for Candidates”.

SCCDP Communications Director John Comiskey will cover the basics of formulating your message and getting it out to voters. The presentation will consist of basic communication skills for first time and novice candidates, campaign volunteers, and others. More experienced attendees are welcome. 

Better candidates will run better campaigns, resulting in better office holders being elected. 

The presentation will be given the third Thursday each month from March through June from 7 PM until 9 PM. Those dates are 3/21, 4/18, 5/16, and 6/20. The presentation is the same each time. You do not need to attend more than once.

The presentation will be given in person at the SCCDP headquarters at 2901 Moorpark Avenue, Suite 110, San Jose, CA 95128.

On Thursday, February 1, 2024, the Santa Clara County Democratic Central Committee took the following actions:

We endorsed Measure C – Sunnyvale School District Bond, adopted one resolution, and heard updates regarding endorsed candidates, a Call to Action for Local Candidates, National Phone Banks, and a Central Valley Fundraiser, Central Committee Elected Equivalent members, and officer and director reports.

The following resolution was adopted:

• Hate has No Place: Decrying the increase in US Antisemitism, Islamophobia and Anti-Palestinian Hate
